Kit Devine currently lectures in digital visual effects, digital video and video art at
the
Australian National University.
Prior to joining the ANU she lectured in 3D Animation at the Australian Film, TV and Radio School.
And before that she worked in Sydney, London and Los Angeles as a digital animation and
effects artist.
She is a Phd student at the College of Fine Arts, University of News South Wales where she is
investigating the role that user preference for engagement strategy has on the experience of
an immersive and interactive virtual heritage environment in association with the
iCinema Centre for Interactive Cinema Research.
To do this she is building an immersive and interactive
virtual model of the Sydney Rocks
that covers the period from 1788 to 2010.
She is a co-founder and Empress of the
Digital Labourers' Federation,
an informal networking organisation for members of the digital graphics industry. It has over 6000
members and very active jobs and news lists.
